I actually have a sister-in-Christ that just escaped from the forest fires in Hawaii with her 13 family members. She had a pilot friend in Canada that secured spots for them on a flight and they got flown to BC just in time, but others have not been so fortunate.
Close to home, we have had severe thunderstorm with hail the size of golf balls, flooding… even tornados which are not usual here.
Jesus told us of severe weather signs before the end would come. We are seeing derechos, earthquakes become more and more frequent, volcanic eruptions.
I even witnessed a thunderstorm at our old home where the sky would light up on and off for 10-15 seconds at a time and it looked like it was day time out for those 15 seconds when it was actually night. It was freakish and strange.

Friends, this is not normal.
All the people I know mention how the weather has been strange especially this year during conversations. It inevitably comes up because it because it is too “in your face” to be ignored.
Has the weather seemed normal to you? Does it seem like there are more natural disasters than usual. Even the heat waves have been extremely intense this year.
No, this is not normal weather, and some people may attribute it to just a natural part of climate change but I believe these are the signs Jesus spoke of when he spoke of end times.
Like birthpangs they will grow more and more intense, he had shared with his disciples.
Well clearly at this rate they are becoming more and more intense and frequent.
How much more will we see before the rapture of the Church? I do not know, but in the meantime, I put my faith and trust in God, knowing He will protect His children who love Him.
We are going Home soon, it’s just a matter of time. And in the meantime, I patiently wait for that blessed day of hope, when our King comes to snatch us away to a paradise like we’ve never known.
