I will be the first to admit, I am not tech savvy. A writer, yes. A blogger… Possibly…? This is, by far, taking me out of my comfort zone, but isn’t that always the start of a great adventure?
Let’s cut to the chase. You have either stumbled across my page because (a) you love books, (b) you love food, (a) + (b), or maybe you just want to see how big my hair really is (c) ! In any case, welcome to “Wait and See, With Lindsey B!”
With two little guys running around, it’s hard to find the time to read. I decided to set a stack of half-read and unread books on my living room end table. Both decorative and practical; I loved it! Besides, out of sight, out of mind right? Not only was I encouraged to read these books staring me in the face, but they brought up conversational pieces when entertaining guests. Over the course of a few months, I started going through them, one by one:
1.”The Help” by Kathryn Stockett
2. “Captivating” by John & Stasi Eldredge
3. “Restless” by Jennie Allen
4. “Adrift” by Tami Oldham Ashcraft with Susea McGearhart
5.”Genesis” from NIV Bible
and…6. “a simple blessing” by Michael W. Smith
Suddenly my stack of books didn’t seem quite so large anymore and I eagerly looked for new ones to replace those I had finished.
